Jaguar XJR 100 limited edition, the ultimate XJR that was built to commemorate Jaguar founder William Lyons 100th birthday.
With the XJR, Jaguar did keep the X308’s 1,775kg kerbweight in check with stiffer suspension, bigger brakes and wider wheels. A more focused drive could spec the R1 pack on later models, featuring even bigger brakes from Brembo and a suspension upgrade. But if you’re after the crème de la crème of XJRs, then it has to be the XJR-100.
Built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Jaguar founder and motoring legend Sir William Lyons, the XJR 100 featured all the performance upgrades of the R1 pack plus a bunch of a host of visual changes to set it apart from the base car. The 100 came with bespoke birdseye maple veneer, which is paired up with a charcoal leather interior and contrasting Red stitching. The XJR 100 was only available in Anthracite for that extra menacing look. The easiest way to distinguish the 100 apart from a regular “R” is that they were fitted with 19-inch multi-piece BBS wheels. Jaguar limited production to just 500 units worldwide, of which only 82 are said to have been earmarked for the British market.
This stunning example, has only had one previous owner and has covered a mere 25,000 miles from new.
